By using command-line parameters, you can choose between the interactive and unattended

installation modes.

When running any of the installation files:

• AcronisAgentLinux.i686 (Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for Linux)

• AcronisBootableComponentsMediaBuilderLinux.i686 (Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Bootable

Components and Media Builder)

• AcronisManagementConsoleLinux.i686 (Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console)

• AcronisDeduplication.i686 (Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Deduplication)

• AcronisUpgradeTool.i686 (Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Upgrade Tool)

you can specify one or more of command-line parameters.

Examples

Example 1: Ubuntu system. The following command installs Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for

Linux on an Ubuntu system, which does not use RPM Package Manager:

./AcronisAgentLinux.i686 -c

Example 2: Unattended setup with license key. The following command installs Acronis Backup &

Recovery 10 Agent for Linux in the unattended mode (without asking for confirmations) and uses the

license key 12345-67890-ABCDE:

./AcronisAgentLinux.i686 -a -i BackupAndRecoveryAgent -l 12345-67890-ABCDE

Example 3: Registration on the management server. The following command:

• Installs Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for Linux in the unattended mode.

• Uses Acronis License Server located on the machine licensesrv, and a license key for the Acronis

Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server edition.

• Registers the machine on Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Server located on the

machine managementsrv once the installation is complete.

./AcronisAgentLinux.i686 -a -i BackupAndRecoveryAgent -L licensesrv -P AS -C

managementsrv -g srvadmin -w PassWd123

Parameters

Unless stated otherwise, the parameters are present in all installation files.

-v or --version

Displays the product version and then exits.
